World Children’s Day is a global movement for children, by children. This post is part of our World Children’s Day series, which spotlights partnerships and individuals making a difference for children around the world.
UNICEF Kid Power is founded on a simple premise: children have the power to make a difference in this world. Our partners at WWE share this belief and are inspired by the impact made by the UNICEF Kid Power team. Working together, students and teachers have saved the lives of more than 99,000 children suffering from severe malnutrition.
In honor of World Children’s Day — November 20, 2019 — the WWE Universe wants to celebrate all that kids are doing to make a better world for themselves. They have created two brand new Kid Power Up videos that will activate and empower students while making real-world impact!
About WWE
WWE is focused on positively impacting children and families around the world. WWE joined the UNICEF Kid Power team in January 2019 to help bring empowering experiences to kids and classrooms across the United States. Students are some of the biggest fans of WWE Superstars, and we now have a robust collection of Kid Power Ups featuring these Superstars.
Bayley and the Bella Twins Make Impact
Children’s favorite, Bayley, is back for her second Kid Power Up with a new Connect video: Emotions Relay. The Bella Twins are new to the UNICEF Kid Power team and get personal with Fearlessness.
Like all Kid Power Ups, playing these videos in class helps unlock Ready-to-Use-Therapeutic Food (RUTF) food packets that UNICEF uses to treat children who are suffering from severe malnutrition. A full-course treatment of 150 packets will save the life of a child.
